     So..What's the Mustard Seed Retreat?

It's a very special place for gardeners, writers, peace seekers and such! Located northwest of Columbus, Ohio; just five miles from Ostrander (where Cline's Plant Farm also operates on a seasonal basis), the retreat focuses on education. Hands-on gardening classes, as well as writing and spiritual renewal classes are taught in the early 1900's farmhouse that has been transformed into a classroom, library, and shared writing rooms. Writers (young or not so young) will find the perfect place to come for a full/half day of total dedication to their craft. Field trips from schools are encouraged...please ask! We've recently begun taking our Children's Nature, Gardening & Writing classes on the road. If you desire a school visit, please email or call to discuss our very reasonable fees. We believe that we owe it to our children to get back to nature!

    The fact that gardening, writing and faith all start with just a small seed, and the mustard seed is the smallest, led to the retreat's name taken from Matthew 17:20 which states:

     "If you have faith as a mustard seed...nothing will be impossible for you."                         Matthew 17:20
